If you’re looking for a hostel, a 24 hr bar, music pumping
and a good party, try Beaches or Fraser Escape hostels. Wanderer
is not a hostel. However, if you are a traveller, rather than
a traditional backpacker, and want the Australian experience
– read on.
Wanderer is rated 4 ½ stars AAAT, has a great range of
facilities, is a short walk to
the beach and close to shops,
pub and public transport. We can arrange all tours
and 4WD hires with courtesy pick up at the door.
Wanderer provides accommodation and camping sites, specifically
for tourists, at a great price. We provide purpose built accommodation
for international travellers.
If you want good, clean, budget accommodation with all cooking
facilities (including crockery and cutlery), T.V. and ensuite,
we have what you‘re looking for. Accommodation is either
shared (2 bedroom cabins,
maximun of 4 people) or 1 bedroom
cabins for couples. Either way, it’s only two to a
bedroom. No dorms. Privacy assured.
Linen hire available.
We also provide camping and
campervan sites, with or without
private bathroom facilities. All with power and water.
We also have a comprehensive tour booking desk and accurate
tourist information. We can get you
to Fraser any way you want
to see it, at the right price and in your own time. All tourist
information and tours booked free of charge.
You'll be able to get everything you need within about a two
kilometre radius of the villas. A major supermarket is close
by as well as all the shops in the Torquay village area, including
bakers, butcher, newsagent and pub.
Within easy reach you will also find bowling clubs, a variety
of restaurants and take away's, sailing clubs and sporting facilities.
Nearby, as well, you'll find catamaran and jetski hire. Also
tennis, squash courts & skating rink. Golf clubs are a short
drive away.
